Julie got the suggestion for her Girl Scout Gold Award project while observing her younger associate, Danny, receive his first Communion. After watching all the little girls in their pretty milky dresses, it dawned on her that probably some youngsters could not afford such finery.

What did not dawn on Julie, a parishioner at Our Lady of the Magnificat R.C. Church in Kinnelon , was the agonizing story that was revealed to her anonymously by a mom, who was one of the first to donate a dress and all its angelic accessories. The worrying memories revealed by this mother prompted Julie to name her project, "Loyalty and Friends – A White Dress for Tara."

When Julie unfaltering to collect the dresses she placed her request for white first Communion dresses in the Our Lady of the Magnificat (OLM) church communiqu and in the bulletins of Catholic churches in the surrounding areas. One of the first to arrive came in a bloodless bag that also contained a Bible, white veil with a tiara, a Communion memories book, rosary beads, and socks.

Haz - You are a female after my own feelings on here. You recollect, what i retain and it is so comforting.

I have a relations bible that has been in the one's nearest for 3 generations and had the details accepted back for 5 generations.

I will later have to out of date it on and I have made it a control that it has to go to only female one's nearest members to be maintained. How that will exertion out I haven't a inform. ; -- ))

I also have some comfortably crockery that belonged to my old lady and a up of Victorian sun glasses that I have no view who's they were. lol

Another particular is a sample of Heidi. Signed Over the moon Christmas 1949. My daughter has it now, but it must stay in the relations.

Egotism of rank goes to a canteen of cutlery that again belongs to my maw.

Last of all is a hefty serving trencher that belonged to my move dad's Aunt Emmy, who would be 130 yo, if she was still vigorous. I rely upon it belonged to her matriarch, so it's age I don't conscious or trouble oneself. It lives in the drawer at the bottom of the cooker and only comes out at Christmas when I use it for the turkey. But I would not part with it for anything. Well, perchance I would, for enough readies to take me and my save on a well right yachting trip leave of absence!!!...
